Station platform is public. Downtown streets are walkable but mind traffic when crossing tracks at grade crossings. UP Riverside Yard a few blocks south is private property.
Metrolink station has paid public parking. Downtown Riverside has metered street parking + several public garages.
Morning best for east-facing platform shots; the BNSF main runs roughly E-W through Riverside.
Very high — BNSF San Bernardino Sub carries the bulk of LA-area intermodal traffic. Metrolink IEOC + 91/Perris Valley Lines run frequent weekday service. Amtrak Southwest Chief passes daily.
